Overview
Needs to have a business acumen and confidence to face clients and lead the overall SEO practice for Digitas.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
- Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
- Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with
- SEO goals general and keyword specific
- Help to create and support marketing content (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
- Manage team of SEO Specialists
- Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
- Optimize website content, landing pages and provide UI/UX recommendations
- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
- Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
- Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated to SEO strategy
- Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy
- Communication to clients, team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
- Collaborate on client strategy and goal definition for success
- Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role
- Atleast 6+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process
- Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.)
- Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
- High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including but not limited to Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, etc.
- Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with SEO reporting
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Analytical mind-set with numerical aptitude
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or related field
