Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop & execute a digital lead gen strategy that takes existing and new channels into account: from email marketing, social media, SEO, websites, landing pages & videos to events and PPC Develop sales enablement processes, procedures and best practices.
  • Work with sales reps to improve prospect targeting, pipeline activities, and conversions.
  • Serve as lead marketing team member on the redesign of our corporate website, providing ideas to improve design, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Direct social media, SEO, and SEM strategies for the marketing team.
  • Collaborate with leaders to drive digital campaign adoption and participation. Develop and run training programs as needed.
  • Responsible for improving a company's organic search results. Creates and launches SEO campaigns, identifies areas of improvement, runs PPC campaigns, and attempts to improve the clients' sites' rankings in major search engines.
  • Prepare detailed strategy reports.
  • Identify the least expensive but most powerful and profitable keywords for client sites.
  • Run pay-per-click campaigns.
  • Improve a company's organic search results.
  • Write effective headlines, body copy, and websites.
  • Ensure websites are filled with optimal keywords.
  • Place keywords appropriately in copy to gain most search engine traffic.
  • Write effective call-to-action statements.
  • Write original, powerful SEO content for blogs and websites.
  • Implement off-page SEO content strategies such as coding.
  • Effectively use header tags.
  • Keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines.
  • Strategize ways to improve and track site performance.
  • Compile and present SEO performance reports.
  • Adjust PPC campaigns as needed.
  • Consult with independent web designers to improve the navigation of a site to enhance its search engine ranking.
  • Utilize basic programming and web design skills to enhance SEO.
  • Create advanced SEO strategies.
  • Evaluate product offering, traffic, landing page quality, content, design, security, payment options, shipping options, demographics of prospective customers when determining keywords and campaigns.
Required Knowledge & Skills:

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 year experience in a Search Engine Marketing profile including Search Engine Optimization, PPC and Social Media Marketing

Skill Set:

  • Strong Technical knowledge on SEO is very important (both on-page and off-page)
  • Good working knowledge of PPC and SMO
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to close potential clients

Industry Expertise:

  • Stay current on Internet user trends and industry developments. Monitor emerging sites and communication channels; recommend new initiatives based on these observations and points of knowledge
  • Analyze web site and generate recommendations for On-Page & Off-Page Optimization.
  • Keyword Research
  • Competitor Analysis
  • Work with development team to install, configure & use web analytics such as Google Analytics.
  • Generate Reports from Google Analytics.
  • Daily Monitoring of Organic Search Rankings.
  • Link Building: Submission to Directories, Blogs, Articles, PRs, Forums and Social Bookmarking.
  • Manage PPC Advertisement Campaigns on Facebook and Google AdWords.
  • Generate Traffic using SMO / SMM
  • Solid understanding of SEO concepts & best practices like canonicalization, search ranking factors, search friendly URLs,
  • Experience with Web analytics such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
  • Experience with Google AdWords.
  • Good Communication and Writing Skills
