At Recro, we are looking to onboard a Content Marketer to set up our content strategy and process as the first hire for our content team. The ideal candidate will come with a deep passion for communicating our story and values to educate developers and fast-growing startups across a breadth of media and content forms.

We are looking for someone who loves creating high-quality and engaging content and driving business success with it. As a Content Marketer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall content strategy that matches specific goals and objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Lead our Content team, which includes managing internal and external writers
  • Understand Recro's value proposition and communicate the same through different forms of content
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar and a social media strategy that attracts qualified developers and fast-growing startups to our digital properties
  • Create, review and edit various types of content such as ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, blogs, newsletter, case studies, etc.
  • Work with designers, product marketing, HR, sales teams, and external influencers, and other industry experts to represent content in different visually appealing ways
  • Design and implement creative marketing strategies to disseminate content and repurpose popular content across multiple platforms
  • Create email campaigns targeted to users who sign up for gated content or opt-in to the mailing list
  • Conduct extensive research on the challenges and priorities of developers and fast-growing startups and align content strategies accordingly
  • Identify core objectives for the content and develop metrics and methods for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the content
  • Produce smart CTAs and campaign captions
Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • A passion for technology and a readiness to learn about Recro with a creative bent of mind
  • 2+ years of prior experience producing and promoting content for a business in a capacity similar to that of a content editor or content marketer
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and strong copywriting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
  • Basic understanding of social media management and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing
  • Highly conversant and at par with the current technological/digital world
  • Data-driven and highly analytical with comprehensive research capabilities
  • Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver with an analytical mindset
  • Preference will be given to developers/ engineers turned marketers who have an understanding of technology stacks and developer ecosystem
